Red Velvet Hot Chocolate

If you dont have time to make something special for this year's valentine's day you can still prepare a quick and catchy hot chocolate to enjoy with your loved one. Actually this hot chocolate can replace very well if you would have missed baking red velvet cake to celebrate this day. This red velvet hot chocolate calls for easy ingredients, some prepare this chocolate with chocolate chips while some goes with cocao powder. Its all depend upon you and your pantry, if you dont have chocolate chips just go with the cocao powder, its works awesome too. My today's hot chocolate goes for chocolate chips, obviously with less efforts you can just whip out this pretty catchy hot chocolate.

Red velvet hot chocolate

Usually decorated with marshmallows, this hot chocolate have its important place during Valentine's day celebration. I have completely skipped the marshmallows and went for less red food colour, if you want to make more reddish hot chocolate, add few more drops of food colour. Trust me this drink will definitely keeps you warm.This red velvet hot chocolate tastes extra special if you finish your evening in a romantic way, make this drink and enjoy.

Valentine's day Red velvet Hot chocolate

4cups Milk
few drops Red food colouring
1/2cup Chocolate chips
1/4tsp Vanilla extract
2tsp Sugar

Take the milk, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, sugar in a sauce pan, heat it in medium flame and stir until the chocolate melts.

Add the red food colour and stir for few seconds.

Pour this hot chocolate in mugs and enjoy along with Heart shaped butter cookies.
